one last thing.....
Sooooo I'm working......really I am.....
(I just finished up the 20 page assignment!) =)
but I just want to note that I have seriously been neglecting this blog.......
and that's because I have another one....
this other blog is actually for my JAC 310 class....
JAC 310 is my online journalism class and we were each given Wordpress blogs
We have to have at least 50 posts for Monday.
Alot of my peers are stressing because they have like 10.
I have 54.
I'm a nerd I know.
I'm actually really proud of that blog....
It's basically the same as this one, except with no cussing.....
I mean it is for class and all.....
Those wordpress layouts drives me craaaazy though.... smh .....

According to TMZ.com, over 300 absentee ballots in New York listed the choices for president as John Mccain and Barack OSAMA. STOP IT. YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. The voting commisioner, Edward McDonough, called it a "human error" and an "embarssment". NO, REALLY???
If you're reading this, you're on a computer right now. Look down at the keyboard and notice where the letter "b" is and where the letter "s" is. A HUMAN ERROR?! I seriously doubt it. If his name was misspelled to say Barack Ovama, or Barack Onama that would be acceptable as a typo considering that "V" and "N" are right next to "B"but the letter "S" is clearly not. MISTAKE??? Uhhhhhhhh no, nice try.
STOP THE MADNESS. LET'S GET ON WITH THIS ELECTION....AND MAKE HISTORY.

Heidi and Spencer are classy......
I saw this story on socialitelife and I just had to blog about it......
Heidi and Spencer joined Taco Bell for the second year for "World Hunger Relief Week" to help raise money for world hunger. Heidi and Spencer volunteered at a Los Angeles Taco Bell where they sold food to fans, took pictures and signed autographs which is all fine and expected. However, while promoting a cause or a serious situation what would make them think that taking pictures like this is okay?!.....
While you can argue that they're "just pictures" and they have a right to take any kind of pictures they want at any time I would say that "yes, that you are correct" but there's a time and place for everything. You are promoting a serious cause! Every year hunger kills more people than war, tuberculosis and AIDS combined. Yet you're cuddled up eating a taco in short shorts with a fendi belt kicking up your snake skin booties Heidi!
This is not how you promote a serious cause! I think they both lack cooth and class and I seriously wonder when their five minutes of fame will be up.....
What really bothers me about Speidi is the fact that they are famous because of someone else. If it weren't for Lauren Conrad, neither one of them would be at all relevant. Yet, with every episode of the hills that airs, they are becoming richer and rich just from riding Lauren Conrad's coattails. It's a sad day in America when these are the kind of people your kids are idolizing. Sick.

The icing on the cake for me with Heidi and Spencer was Spencer's comment on the "Tyra Show" in April about adopting a child in Africa. When Spencer gleefully told Banks about his aspirations to adopt a kid in Africa and call him, "Dunk" he had this to say.....
QUOTE: "Cause I mean, this is when I was saying I wanna go to Africa and I wanna adopt an African and he’s gonna be very tall and he’s gonna be able to dunk . . . you know?"
When I heard Spencer say that, I was immediately disgusted. How disgusting and defamatory to talk about a child in the same likes as a pet. You would give this child, this life that you are responsible for this name because you automatically assume he'll be tall and good at basketball. Is it just me or does that sound racist? Or is it stereotypical? I just don't get it! It still amazes me how pig headed and ignorant some people are. I'm sure Spencer didn't even realize how disrespectful a statement he made, much like the one he's making with these pictures with Heidi.
If I could tell Heidi and Spencer one thing it would be this,
"Go get a job and get a life."

OMG # 2!!!!!!......
This is an "OMG" in a good way.....
Janelle Monae just premiered her video for "Many Moons" on 106 & Park and OMG....it's so beautiful!!!! I literally could not take my eyes off the TV! Before I go on, I'll say this. I had my doubts and I was worried for Miss Monae. I was worried for her because her music is so eclectic I wasn't sure how it would reverberate on a show like 106 & Park....but CLEARLY she'll be okay!
That was just awesome....like....omg, I just wasn't expecting it to be that good! I just love to see an artist doing something different. I really do appreciate a video like this!.....like WOW....i can't wait to find it and post it on here!

A gas station in Cobb County, GA (which is where I'm from)..... charged $8.82 a gallon for gas!
THAT IS OUTRAGEOUS!!!!
Georgia is suffering from a serious gas shortage and when consumers do find gas....they're paying CRAZY prices......
$8.82 a gallon??????!!!!!!

SPOTLIGHT: ANDRE 300'S BENJAMIN BIXBY CLOTHING LINE
Andre 3000 recently released his "Benjamin Bixby" clothing line at Barney's.
The line is inspired by 1930s football uniforms and includes cardigans, numbered sweaters and fitted sweat shirts.
I personally think 3000 is a genius. He is truly an innovator in a rap culture that celebrates ignorance, violence and mediocrity. 3000 enjoys painting, reading and acting. Even more interesting is that he's a vegetarian and campaigns for anti-fur with Peta. When I heard about him releasing a clothing line, I was excited and after reading more into it I still am. I love to see a well dressed man in clothes that fit. I feel like in our culture we denounce men that dress well and automatically label them as gay or metrosexual. I will say this however, I feel that in college it is more accepted. For instance here at Hampton University there are plenty of guys that have their own style and wear nice, well made clothing that fit. The question however is this. When did ill fitting clothing become acceptable as the norm? Why should we question a man's sexuality based on the clothes he wears. I personally don't believe that. I am from Atlanta. In Atlanta there are just as many homosexual men in baggy clothes and bandannas as there are in tight pants carrying Louis Bags.....that's all I'm saying.....
Looking at these pictures of the collection, I love it. I love the vintage feel to it....
.....I would love to see a guy in an outfit from this collection....
....but I'm sure it costs an arm and a leg....SMH.....
In an interview with "Guardian" 3000 had this to say about trying to be stylish as a kid in the south.....
"Everything is slower in the south. But we wanted to educate ourselves. Every kid was a fashion victim back then, but as you get older you learn and you become the killer not the victim."
